We are looking for a highly driven and skilled Machine Operator that will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of various machinery for the production of engravable plastic and metal items. The position requires electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures to produce products that meet quality standards.

The position requires electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures to produce products that meet quality standards.

What

You'll Be Doing
  • Responsible for day to day operation and maintenance of shears, bevelers, engraving and badge machines, and panel saw
  • Pick all required materials to complete a job
  • Ensure product meets quality standards while also meeting production goals and minimizing waste
  • Recognize pre-production problems such as material thickness, material defects, correct material type, etc.
  • Eliminate return good authorizations by accurately marking, segregating and cutting defective material
  • Follow machine operating instructions and safety guidelines while performing duties
  • Identify problems in the manufacturing process and reporting them
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude or training preferred
  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
  • Basic math and measurement skills, with the ability to interpret orders and procedural documents
  • Ability to analyze and interpret procedural documents, order requirements and instructions
  • Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when necessary
