Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician to join the team in Duluth, GA.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate large-format digital printing equipment, including the EFI Nozomi, according to job specifications.

* Review work orders and verify stock, artwork, color requirements, and production quantities before beginning each job.

* Initiate and run jobs according to the production schedule.

* Monitor print quality throughout production, including color consistency, registration, image quality, and overall accuracy against specifications.

* Identify print defects, press alarms, and mechanical issues and take prompt action to correct problems or involve Maintenance when needed.

* Perform daily startup, shutdown, routine maintenance, and preventive maintenance procedures.

* Complete roll or sheet changes while minimizing downtime and material waste.

* Meet established standards for output, uptime, waste, spoilage, and quality.

* Maintain accurate production logs, quality documentation, and equipment maintenance records.

* Coordinate with Prepress, Scheduling, Maintenance, and Finishing to keep jobs moving through production.

* Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and proper chemical handling.

Shift: 1st Shift;
Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

* 2+ years of experience operating digital or commercial printing equipment

* Previous experience operating a large-format digital press

* Experience with color management, registration, and print quality inspection

* Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

* Ability to read and understand production work orders and technical specifications

* Basic computer skills for production software, job tracking, and reporting

* Basic math and measurement skills

* Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with other departments

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work within production deadlines

Requirements Within This Position:

* Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

* Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

* Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials

* Frequently required to move inside the facility

* Regularly move up to 50 pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying

* Ability to stand for extended periods

We Would Also Prefer:

* Experience with HP Indigo, HP Page Wide, Durst, or similar large-format digital printing equipment

* Experience with corrugated packaging or POP display manufacturing

* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S workplace organization
