Now hiring Picker/Packers for an immediate start job opportunity.

Pay rate: $16.87/hr.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 2:45pm to 11:00pm

• Package materials and products by hand.
• Assemble cartons, clean and line packing containers.
• Obtain and sort product.
• Wrap protective material around product.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations, good housekeeping, and sanitation practices.
• Read plainly written specifications and packing instructions.
• Take inventory counts and record on appropriate forms.
• Requires ordinary care to prevent material losses or damages.
• Fill bags or bottles by machine lever, seal.
• Set up batches of liquids or dry products.
• Label cases.
• Regular attendance on the job, dependability and reliability are required.
• Read a weight scale to meet packaging specifications.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow some routine, repetitive tasks.
• Ability to maintain and operate powered cleaning, service equipment and trash compactor.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently, performing such activities as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, pinching and grasping are possible.
• Ability to operate power equipment for material handling.
