Warehouse Associate Reports To: Materials Manager
Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support inventory management, material handling, kit preparation, and SMT setup activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production teams have the materials they need while maintaining accurate inventory records and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Inventory & Warehouse Operations- Receive and stock materials in assigned bin and lot locations
- Prepare production kits based on manufacturing schedules and production requirements
- Perform cycle counts and scheduled inventory audits
- Monitor inventory for expired materials, including items stored in refrigerated areas
- Process returned kits from production and adjust inventory counts accordingly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logs when additional materials are issued to production
- Ensure materials are stored, handled, and tracked accurately at all times
- Perform initial setup of SMT machines
- Load and feed component magazines according to Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Verify materials and components are staged correctly for production runs
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to distinguish colors, fine details, and variations in tones
- Inventory control and cycle counting
- Material handling in a manufacturing environment
- SMT setup or electronics manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production support processes
