Forklift Operator / Material Handler (Sit-Down & Stand-Up)

Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM | 3rd

Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators / Material Handlers for a well-known automotive parts manufacturer in Suwanee; GA. Qualified candidates must have hands-on experience operating both sit-down and stand-up Toyota forklifts and be comfortable performing a variety of material handling duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate sit-down and stand-up Toyota forklifts throughout the facility
Transport, stage, and organize materials, parts, and inventory to support production
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
Move materials between warehouse, production, and staging areas
Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and immediately report any equipment issues
Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow all company, warehouse, and facility safety policies and procedures
Support production operations by maintaining a consistent workflow and meeting productivity expectations

Must Haves

3+ years of recent, relevant forklift experience
Proven experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts
Valid forklift certification preferred
Strong material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Ability to work the assigned 2nd or 3rd shift consistently
Ability to meet the physical demands and productivity requirements of the position
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

Experience with WMS or inventory management systems
Familiarity with scanning systems, inventory control, and material staging.
