Labeling Specialist

About The Role

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Labeling Specialist to join our team in the Duluth Georgia location. This role is r esponsible for documentation and labelling related to production operations. You will ensure products, materials, cartons, pallets, and shipments are labeled accurately and in compliance with company and customer requirements. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, traceability, and efficient order fulfillment.

This role is r esponsible for documentation and labelling related to production operations. You will ensure products, materials, cartons, pallets, and shipments are labeled accurately and in compliance with company and customer requirements. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, traceability, and efficient order fulfillment.

• Detects all needed identification, including labels, tags, terminal block markers, shipping labels based on BOMs, schematics,
• prints and sales orders.
• Produces identification using proprietary and commercial software.
• Operates and maintains proprietary and commercial software.
• Operates and maintains proprietary and commercial printers, plotters and engravers.
• Prints updated information from Engineering changes and provides supervision with the updated documentation.
• Prints necessary as-build documentation.
• Files completed production orders.
• Responsible for organization and cleanliness (5S) of the Labeling station.
• Responsible for inventory and order placement of labeling supplies.
• Assists in receiving of materials in the material receiving area if necessary.
• Locates orders on the production floor and updating documents/labeling as needed
• Communicates with Packing Specialists when documentation of orders is complete.
• Prints additional labeling for production associates when needed.

• High School or GED

• Microsoft Office suite (basic Word, intermediate Excel, basic PowerPoint, basic Outlook) - SAP preferred.
• Identification Computer Numeric Control operating software.
• Printer and plotter setup/operation.
• Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety.

• 1+ years of related experience
