We’re currently looking for a Design Director with the vision to shape the future of our work, the authority to elevate our creative output, and the hunger to do the best work of their career.
Here’s what we’re looking for:- 10+ years of agency experience with an enviable portfolio of award-winning, beautifully art directed work across brand and integrated campaigns.
- You think in systems — you can build a brand identity, establish a visual world, and lead teams through digital and visual transformations.
- You balance visionary thinking with business acumen: you understand clients' P&Ls as well as their brand briefs.
- You architect intelligent creative workflows and champion a culture of continuous experimentation.
- Experience beyond being an individual contributor, mentoring and guiding work of other creatives, but ok with living in the work day‑to‑day.
- Ability to handle fast paced environment with multiple clients in various vertical.
- Deep experience in CPG — you understand the category, the shelf, the shopper, and how to make a brand matter in a crowded market.
- You’re not experimenting with AI — you’re already using it strategically to accelerate ideation, production, and creative possibility.
- You know how to build, mentor, and inspire a creative department — from junior designers to senior art directors.
- Even in the toughest constraints, you find a way to make the work outstanding — positivity is part of your creative toolkit.
- Set the creative vision and design direction for the agency as well as your specific accounts, establishing standards that push every piece of work to its best.
- Lead conceptual development on major campaigns and produce ideas that break through and win awards.
- Champion AI as a creative multiplier: build best practices, run experiments, and model fluency for the entire creative department.
- Serve as a senior creative voice in client relationships, becoming a trusted partner who understands their business and consistently delivers beyond expectations.
- Partner with strategy team members to spot and amplify creative opportunities.
- Be instrumental in new business pitches and concepts.
- Grow your creative team's skills, ambitions, and careers.

At Luckie, we believe our best work happens together. Employees are required and expected to work from the office three days per week. We are ideally seeking to staff this role in our Duluth, GA office
, but would consider our Birmingham, AL location. Our expectation is the same no matter where the work is done — employees must be flexible to meet the needs of Luckie and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
