CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

PAIN CLINIC in DULUTH area seeks Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform a broad range of clinical responsibilities in an office setting. “Pain management experience not required — training available.” visit

Prefer candidates with 1+ years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Individual MUST have strong work ethic, friendly professional demeanor (including appearance), and strong communication skills. In addition, must be a fast learner, flexible, punctual, and dependable and a team player.

• Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Perform physical examinations under the direction of a physician.
• Assists physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
• Orders, schedules, and interprets laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to implement appropriate patient care plans.
• Educates patient on health habits, behavior management, need for follow-up assessments/treatments, medication and other issues related to endocrine medical or health problems.
• Maintains and updates current, accurate patient records.

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Certified as a Physician's Assistant.
• Experience in a physician office setting or extensive diabetes experience required.
• Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
• Bilingual in Korean/English highly preferred.
