Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,300 - $3,910

  Outpatient Cardiology Clinic (Cardiology NP, Clinical Cardiology)

  Duluth, GA (30096) — Gwinnett County, near Atlanta
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: ~15 (outpatient cardiology visits)
• Assignment Duration:
  June 10, 2026 – September 30, 2026 (16 weeks)
• Epic Training:
  Every other week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (must be completed before start; Epic EMR experience preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience (outpatient or clinic cardiology experience preferred)
• Active Georgia DEA license required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Nurse Practitioner)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to complete protocol agreement with Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB)
• Epic EMR proficiency preferred; training provided prior to start

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care, including assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment planning
• Manage approximately 15 patient encounters per shift, including new and follow-up cardiology visits
• Perform medication management, risk assessment, and care coordination for cardiac patients
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR and complete required credentialing and Epic training prior to start
• Adhere to clinic protocols and GCMB collaborative agreement requirements
