Registered Nurse - IR​/Special Procedures

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing procedures in an interventional radiology or special procedures setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes through expert nursing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care before, during, and after interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure procedural success and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Adhere to all procedural protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies.
• Assist with procedural setup and equipment management.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in IR or special procedures.
• Possess valid AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and emergency response.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Show adaptability to varying shift schedules and call responsibilities.
