-14251 Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including vital signs, hemodynamics, and neurological status. Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage life-support equipment as needed. Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions. Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and ICU best practices. Consistent 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week Opportunity to work in a mixed ICU/IMCU unit (10 ICU + 22 IMCU beds) Supportive, collaborative team environment Prime Duluth, GA location with easy access to Atlanta amenities Key Requirements and Technology
Experience:
Active RN License (GA or Compact State) AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (required) CCRN certification (preferred) Minimum 2 years of recent experience within ICU or IMCU specialty Strong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills under pressure Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am), schedule varies No local candidates within 50 miles Excellent cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills Proficiency in ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and post-procedural care Strong communication and teamwork in high-stress environments Proficient in EMR/EHR documentation Compassionate, patient-first mindset Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
