American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring recent OR specialty experience and the ability to both scrub and circulate.
Details- Surgery unit within a hospital setting
- Handles ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics surgical cases
- Required to scrub and circulate
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies between 6:45am-7:15pm
- No on-call requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested at time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
