Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
TPC Sugarloaf is a premier private club located within the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia. Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Basic knowledge of general business practices, retail sales practices and procedures (at least 6 months of similar experience)
• Previous customer service experience
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and staff.
- Answer telephone calls, schedule future court times, and provide information in a pleasant tone.
- Assist with lesson and program scheduling as needed.
- Accurately operate the point of sale system per the Club Operations Manual; handle and count cash, provide correct change, record credit card and member charges.
- Collect fees and other incomes.
- Maintain purchase order system and ordering/receiving program to ensure proper quantity and price on all purchases.
- Assist with physical inventories and routine cleaning of the tennis shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays.
- Communicate information, sell merchandise, and become fully knowledgeable in products and sales techniques.
- Anticipate members’ and guests’ needs and offer suitable merchandise options.
- Ensure displays are kept at appropriate stock inventory levels and appearance meets or exceeds PGA TOUR standards.
- Perform light maintenance duties on courts and grounds as directed.
- Complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
• Requires standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, handling items and hands‑to‑hands communication.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Requires close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Not required for this position.
Work Schedule ExpectationsThis position requires shifts as necessary based on business levels.
Supervisory ResponsibilityNo direct supervisory responsibilities.
