Baker and Packager Associate

Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; following recipes/make-up instructions; wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management;
Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution;
Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for production, ordering, training, and product quality decisions;
Maintain operational excellence by keeping work area compliant with policies; ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure packaging and labeling compliance;
Collaborate with managers and coworkers to complete tasks, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.
