Field Service Technician - On-Site Hydraulic Hose Repair

• Removal, Identification, Fabrication, and Installation of hydraulic and similar hoses.
• Cranking and testing equipment.
• Provide after‑hour on‑call assistance 4‑6 days a week, rotating every 5th or 6th week.
• Evaluate the condition of equipment and recognize any other potential hose failure.
• Check and fill hydraulic oil where required.
• Deliver hose and other products.
• Maintain clean, well‑running work truck, inventory, and tools provided.
• Communicate cause and correction to customer.
• Provide copy of on‑site service order to customer.
• Collect payment from customers where required and assist in collections of past‑due accounts.
• Maintain current accounts with regular visits and correspondence.
• Generate new business through sales calls and record them.
• Keep a daily log and DOT checklist.
• Assist in training new employees.

• Medium level mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with tools.
• Job experiences involving people relations.
• Drug screen.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT physical.
• Criminal background check.
• 12th grade education or equivalent.

• Drive medium duty commercial truck.
• Work outdoors under varying conditions: hot, cold, rain, dirt, mud, noise, bad smells, heights, etc.
• Occasionally lift and/or move 80 pounds.
• Be able to work with tools in confined spaces, on the ground, inside and around heavy equipment and machinery, etc.
• Be flexible to use tools efficiently.
• Keep steady work pace with safety always first.
