Job Description
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting‑edge software applications that improve building automation systems, enabling safer, more energy‑efficient, and productive environments for building owners and occupants. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Duluth, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
- Build and deploy cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure
- Develop microservices architectures and integrate with distributed systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot production issues and support system improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in design and development of software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault).
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL Server / Cosmos DB / No
SQL databases. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions).
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes (nice to have).
- Experience with event‑driven architecture and messaging systems.
- Exposure to security best practices (OAuth2, Azure AD, managed identities).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Domain knowledge in connected systems, IoT.
