Job Title:

Roll‑Off Container Delivery Driver

Deliver and pick up roll‑off containers around the Duluth area. Keep informed of local road conditions, traffic, and detours. Complete work orders on an Android tablet for proper customer billing.

• Deliver and pick up roll‑off containers.
• Maintain a clean interior and exterior of assigned equipment.
• Perform thorough pre‑and post‑trip inspections and communicate mechanical issues.
• Adhere to DOT hours‑of‑service regulations and coordinate with dispatch for compliance.
• Communicate pickup or delivery changes and concerns to dispatch.
• Provide future jobsite leads to dispatcher or sales team.
• Represent Veit positively on site and on road with customer service skills.
• Take pride in the appearance of equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED and six months of related experience or equivalent.
• Valid Class
  
  A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Medical card for operating a DOT vehicle.
• Proficiency with email and electronic tracking or ability to learn new computer hardware and software.
• Ability to read maps, follow directions and navigate with GPS.
• Ability to comply with all applicable safety precautions and company policies.
• Ability to work with basic math and mechanics for tarping if needed.
• Strong communication skills with coworkers, management and customers.
• Attendance reliability: 8–12‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday with possible weekends.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug test and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

• Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Work may involve standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and handling loud noise.
• Exposure to variable temperatures and terrain.
