Position Summary: The Logistics Specialist (LS) is responsible for loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and customer delivery, unload staging at customer sites, maintain safe driving practices, represent Tire Hub professionally and foster customer relationships. The LS works Monday through Saturday, fluctuating day shift hours, with a starting wage of $20 per hour and a guaranteed $2 increase the first year.

Reports To: Assistant TLC Leader

- Distribute tasks across general warehousing, delivery services, vehicle maintenance.
- Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires on transport vehicles.
- Follow safety standards when packing, labeling, palletizing orders using the bin locator system.
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks with safety protocols.
- Perform cycle counts, tallies, labeling for inventory control.
- Collect payments from customers on COD transactions.
- Maintain vehicles clean and in good mechanical condition.
- Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
- Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training.
- Complete other tasks assigned.
- Optimize work processes and continuous improvement.
- Manage ambiguity and drive results.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a valid license.
- Minimum age 19.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Repeatedly lift, pull, push, or move tires up to 50 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires.
- Work up to 35 feet above ground level.
- Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.
- Follow traffic rules and safely drive Tire Hub vehicles.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or more without mechanical assistance following safety procedures.
- Stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
- May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception.
- Operate equipment in non‑climate‑controlled warehouses and customer locations.
- Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required with little notice.
- Driving at night or in inclement weather may be required.
- Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 ft 3 in in height.
