Over-The-Road ​/ Regional CDL Class A Driver

NEMA, Inc. is an Atlanta-based logistics and warehousing company specializing in OTR freight, warehousing, imports and exports, and international trade operations (including a Foreign Trade Zone). We run a professional, safety-first operation with a team that takes the driver relationship seriously — from dispatch to the executive level. We are currently expanding our OTR driver team and are looking for experienced CDL-A professionals who want a stable, salaried position with a company that operates with integrity.

The OTR CDL-A Driver position is a full-time, salaried role operating company equipment on long-haul lanes originating from the Atlanta metropolitan area. This is not a CPM position. Compensation is a fixed annual salary starting at $67,000 (but paid based on experience and route) + bonuses and benefits, paid weekly — providing income stability that variable pay structures cannot.

• Safely operate late-model (2021 or newer) company-owned tractor-trailers on OTR lanes
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects immediately
• Maintain HOS compliance and accurate ELD records at all times
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and safety concerns
• Represent NEMA professionally at customer facilities and on the road
• Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and company safety policies

• Valid CDL-A — must be in good standing with no restrictions that affect OTR operations
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
• No DUI or DWI conviction within the past 10 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No failed or refused DOT drug or alcohol test (undisclosed SAP non-completion is disqualifying)
• Current, valid DOT medical examiner's certificate
• Must successfully complete pre-employment road test, drug screen, MVR/PSP review, and background check

Annual salary:
Starting at $67,000 + bonuses and benefits — paid weekly via direct deposit. Salary is not contingent on mileage, load count, or freight volume, but is based on driving experience and route.

Weekly home time is structured into dispatch scheduling, not treated as a variable. We believe consistent home time is not a perk; it is a basic condition of a sustainable driving career.

Late-model fleet — 2021 model year or newer. Well-maintained, fully equipped, and assigned. You will know your truck.
