- Check in parts and reconcile receiving checklist to packing slips to ensure all parts and quantities are received and that pricing is accurate.
- Prepare parts for sale and verify dealer net price.
- Stock inventory including organizing shelves and rotating stock.
- Process, file and code all rebates monthly.
- Review and code invoices sent from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure that all dealership and OEM invoices are scanned and maintained properly.
- File discrepancies with OEM for damaged, missing or wrong parts received.
- Ship parts to assigned locations.
- Complete purchase orders for parts; verify all prices before parts are received and posted.
- Track orders for counter sales and repair orders, follow up with vendors as necessary.
- Communicate with parts counter personnel and delivery drivers regarding parts transfers from other Nextran locations.
- Core management from core credit to customer to processing returns to assigned location.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- High School Diploma, College or Technical training preferred but not required.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or climb.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Required to sit for an extended period of time (hours).
- The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
