Job Summary
Conducts daily counts and reconciliations in accordance with Nordson’s established Inventory Control, Safety and Quality policies and procedures. Assists in root-cause analysis and problem solving. Participates in NBS Next culture activities.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors count completeness reports; identify materials to be counted; helps ensure 100% count completeness.
- Conducts daily counts, reviews results; determines cause of errors, codes count accordingly.
- Inputs/maintains count records and reports via SAP.
- Accurately performs material transactions and Master Data maintenance as assigned.
- Works with representatives from a broad range of functional areas (customer service, warehouse, accounting, purchasing, receiving, assembly, etc.).
High school diploma or G.E.D. Some college preferred.
Minimum 3 to 5 years in inventory control, materials, production, or cost accounting environment. Cycle count and record reconciliation experience preferred.
PreferredSkills and Abilities
- Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing, and inventory control functions.
- Detail-oriented, self-starter.
- Math/numeric aptitude.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, ability to multi-task.
