Warehouse Associate III - Duluth, GA (SAF)
Pay: $21.00 per hour |
Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies.
- Store materials in designated locations, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Pick and stage orders according to customer specifications and deadlines, ensuring correct quantities and product identification.
- Pack products securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including labels, packing slips, and bills of lading.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues or report more complex problems to maintenance.
- Support and guide less experienced warehouse associates (Warehouse Associate I and II).
- Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year warehousing or similar experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours.
- Ability to read and comprehend customer orders, bills of lading, etc.
- Basic math skills.
- Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems.
- Valid Powered Industrial Truck license – Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks (required or preferred).
- Experience with pallet jacks (preferred).
