The City of Saint Anthony is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk - Payroll.

This technical accounting position performs payroll processing and supports general accounting functions in a municipal environment. Work is completed in accordance with established laws, policies, and procedures and requires independent judgment in reviewing transactions and ensuring accurate and timely financial operations. The Payroll Clerk works closely with the Finance Department, Human Resources, and other City departments.

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; two or more years of payroll processing experience (municipal preferred); knowledge of municipal accounting and finance practices, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the City.

• Five or more years of municipal government experience; experience with payroll systems (ADP preferred); bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or CPA.
