Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

We are hiring a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support accounting operations, focusing on billing, customer accounts, and payment tracking. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong accounting and organizational skills.

• Manage and reconcile customer accounts and payments
• Create and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders
• Follow up on past-due accounts and resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate financial records and account updates
• Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting
• Support basic accounting and administrative tasks as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in accounting software (i.e. Quick Books, Zoho, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Accounting or Business degree
• Experience in previous AR roles
• CAPP certification

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-focused
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

• Part-time, 25 hours per week (onsite, M-F 9 AM- 2 PM)
