Tax Accounting Manager

Job Description

LHH is partnered with a local accounting firm seeking a tax focused accounting manager to join their client-centric organization. Due to organic growth, this organization is adding a consultative tax planner/small business advisor to help maintain client relationships & join their family-like team of professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer service as the primary contact for a section of clients, including long-term business relationships.
• Review and analyze financial statements prepared by staff accountants and provide consulting and advice to clients.
• Prepare and review business and personal tax returns, and assist clients with ongoing tax planning.
• Handle installations for new clients and manage back work for new client setups.
• Offer business and financial advice, as well as computer and software support, to service our clients effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-6 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Experience with business compilations and tax returns (business and personal).
• Knowledge of payroll and sales taxes.
• EA or CPA candidates preferred; certifications can be earned on the job.

Opportunity is Hybrid after training period.

This position pays 75K-95K plus incentive bonus, profit sharing & safe harbor matching; benefits apply to hiring company.
