As a Sr Program Specialist
- Pulp & Paper
at Honeywell, you will use your project and organizational skills to manage a variety of business projects that drive revenue, increase productivity, and improve processes across multiple areas and businesses. You will hold a visible position and interact directly with peers and leaders across all groups, requiring broad knowledge of various business practices.

This role requires ability to travel up to 25% throughout the United States.

Locations:
East US Region.

Hybrid

Work Schedule:

For the first 90 days, new hires must work 100% onsite Monday–Friday, followed by 3 days in the office per week. Remote location in the East US Region is possible if not close to a Honeywell office but is close to P2 customer locations.

Responsibilities
  • Follow GPM Mandatory Compliance requirements for all assigned projects.
  • Review all contract documents prior to and/or upon booking of project.
  • Implement and monitor project schedules, ensuring projects are on or ahead of schedule.
  • Maintain project meeting minutes and distribution.
  • Forecast and review cost performance monthly with LSS management and LSS finance.
  • Ensure quality requirements are met, delivered at or below budget, and proactively identify and address project risks (cost, quality, schedule & scope).
  • Monitor scope and implement change orders where appropriate.
  • Maximize utilization & effectiveness of Advanced Migrations Technologies.
  • Communicate effectively to keep both the customer and LSS management informed of all aspects of the project.
  • Assemble project closeout documents and warranties.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management or project engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the United States.

  • 3+ years of expertise with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, SharePoint).
  • 3+ years of knowledge of IT and financial systems (Salesforce, SAP, etc.).
  • Track record of improving performance, meeting commitments, and delivering results.
  • 3+ years of Pulp & Paper industry background.
  • 3+ years of DCS or PLC background.
  • Exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
