St. Mark’s Preschool in St. Paul, MN is seeking an Afternoon Preschool Care Coordinator for PreK students, ages 3-5 years old, for approximately 20 hours per week. Monday‑Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm on days that preschool is in session.
Job Responsibilities- Create a safe & loving, positive, Christ‑like atmosphere in which each child’s personal dignity is respected.
- Maintain a neat, orderly, clean, and safe space where the children are supervised and protected from harm.
- Engage the students in indoor and outdoor play with art projects and activities.
- Help the children learn conflict and social emotional skills
- Collaborate and communicate with other afternoon preschool staff
- Foster open communication with the students and parents on a daily basis
- Manage child pick‑ups and assist families as needed
- Complete all of the closing tasks necessary to ensure the preschool is ready for the next day
