Construction Manager

Overview

Wylander is recruiting a Construction Manager for a full-service disaster restoration company located in Duluth, MN.

Construction Manager Compensation and Benefits:

• $65K-$75K, Annually
• Company vehicle

• Manage all reconstruction projects from start to finish, including residential and commercial losses
• Review mitigation scopes and develop detailed reconstruction scopes, budgets, and schedules
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and internal teams
• Monitor project timelines, costs, change orders, and job profitability
• Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance
• Obtain permits, schedule inspections, and ensure timely approvals
• Resolve project issues, delays, and customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Maintain accurate project documentation, photos, estimates, and reports
• Collaborate with production, mitigation, and office teams to ensure seamless project flow
• Support on-call or emergency response as needed

• 5+ years of management experience within the construction industry
• Proven ability to build, motivate and maintain a high performing team
• Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and internet and software Systems
• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
• Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable. Identifies own learning needs and seeks appropriate steps to continue continual self-development
• Bilingual
• BA/BS required or equivalent experience
