We are seeking a Bridge Foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a background in bridge operations for heavy highway projects. This role requires leadership, organization, and hands‑on management of field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality project execution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESThe key responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of bridge crew on highway and heavy construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Oversee daily bridge activities to meet project specifications.
- Operate and manage heavy equipment as needed to support operations.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of crew work, material usage, and project progress.
- Train, mentor, and lead crew members to maximize productivity and morale.
- Troubleshoot job site issues and develop effective solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Assist in enforcement of Company policies and procedures.
- High school graduate or GED certification.
- This is a union position

- Minimum of 5 years in heavy highway construction experience.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe construction practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with crews, management, and clients.
- Strong troubleshooting and decision‑making skills to address challenges effectively.
- Ability to develop individual team members and increase team capability.
- Travel may be required.
