Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in commercial glazing to support a growing pipeline of projects ranging from $250K to $12M. This role goes beyond traditional estimating, while not business development focused, there is an expectation to follow up on bids, build relationships, and stay engaged with clients throughout the preconstruction process.

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial glazing projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents across multiple project types
• Perform detailed takeoffs and scope reviews
• Follow up on submitted bids and maintain communication with clients and partners
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the industry
• Track and report on bid activity, hit rates, and pipeline performance
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
• Navigate regional differences in labor, materials, and market conditions

Candidates should have experience estimating across a variety of glazing and façade systems, including:

• Electro‑mechanical hardware
• Automatic doors
• Fins, sunshades, large free‑span systems
• Blast, attack, and bullet‑resistant systems
• European windows, curtain wall, and entrances
• Steel windows and doors
• ACM (Aluminum Composite Material), plate panels
• Phenolic and terra cotta systems

• Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial glazing
• Strong understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to manage estimates across multiple regions and market conditions
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Strong reporting, tracking, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
