Rachel Contracting is seeking qualified applicants for a Heavy Equipment Operator. Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition and utilities primarily in the Midwest/Central US region. Our team welcomes individuals who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering quality workmanship with integrity and professionalism.

• Support the construction of earthwork components for projects, including site grading, road construction and improvements, drainage systems, road maintenance, dewatering, soil stabilization, foundation excavation and back filling, utility installation, and other required civil infrastructure.
• Operate various heavy equipment, including motor graders (blades), dozers, excavators, water trucks, off-road trucks, and skid steers.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and established work plans to ensure a safe and efficient job site.

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction environments
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and support a team in challenging or fast-paced conditions
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Dependable and self-motivated, with the initiative to follow tasks through to completion
• Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
