PositionSummary
To develop real life skills as you help grow the relationship between 98.5 KTIS and listeners with the Audience Engagement team. Gain hands-on promotions experience, including concerts and events, contests, and more.
This position is available for internship credit. This is a position for the Academic Year, with the opportunity to continue into Summer 2027.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in strategizing, coordinating, and executing promotional events and community engagement with KTIS team
- Participate in on and off campus events, help set-up and work at concerts/events for engagement booth
- Correspond with winners, pack and mail prizes, and update winner contact information
- Collaborate on the creation and execution of social promotions and strategies of digital assets, including web and social media images, photo and video creation.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

QualificationsRequired
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Able to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, tactful and courteous manner
- Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community
- Ability to transport self to and from offsite events as needed
- Independent & Teamwork: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with minimal supervision.
- Confidentiality: Maintains discretion and handles sensitive information appropriately.

Skills:
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities; able to prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail. - Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and related software.
- Written & Verbal Communication: Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
- Punctuality & Initiative: Prompt, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting responsibilities.
- Background Check: Must pass background check as a condition of employment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
