Job Description
Handle financial transactions for customers in a confidential and accurate manner, while also providing excellent customer service.
LocationSioux Falls, SD
ShiftDays, Rotating Saturdays
SchedulePart-Time (30-39 hours a week)
Responsibilities- Execute customer service by greeting customers promptly, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining confidentiality, and understanding features and benefits of First PREMIER Bank’s products and services.
- Process transactions including deposits and withdrawals, cashed checks, Savings Bonds, and receipt of payments (loans, credit cards, credit lines).
- Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Review account information, assist customers with problems or questions, and keep account information current using internal systems.
- Perform branch opening and closing duties independently.
- Manage a cash drawer and balance it daily according to teller performance standards.
- Maintain daily and monthly reports such as Teller Difference, Mail/Instrument Counts, Record Retention, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills, cash handling, customer service and/or banking experience preferred.
- Ability to express ideas, request action, and formulate plans clearly.
- Cooperatively interact with co-workers to promote an effective work unit.
- Effectively manage time to ensure prompt completion of tasks.
- Understand and effectively use standard office equipment and software.
- Work at a basic level to recognize sales opportunities during service interactions.
- Conduct oneself in a manner that promotes trust in the individual and the organization.
