Estimator, Design & Architecture, Manufacturing Engineer

Now, we're hiring a full-time Project Estimator to create accurate quotes and competitive bid packages for prospective clients in Hawley, MN

Pay:
Depending on experience, $25.00 - $39.00/hour

Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

• Collaborating with various teams and vendors to acquire information for prospective conveyor design projects and develop competitive bids
• Analyzing customer specifications, blueprints, and schematics to identify labor and material needs, estimate timelines, and create preliminary layouts and system drawings
• Preparing cost estimates and presenting proposals
• Coordinating projects, tracking bids, and maintaining engineering/sales documentation within the ERP
• Ensuring all aspects of the job are up to quality and safety expectations and promptly reporting unsafe conditions
• Supporting cross-functional product research and development initiatives
• Providing price quotes, setting credit terms, and preparing sales contracts
• Assisting with additional duties as assigned

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a subject like project management, construction management, or drafting & design
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, structural steel, manufacturing processes, and industrial construction techniques
• Ability to accurately follow schematics, blueprints, and verbal instructions
• Professional communication skills and interpersonal abilities
• Multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), Epicor Kinetic (or similar ERP), and CAD, AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, or similar design software
• Experience with (or ability to learn) Overland conveyor software
