Practice Specifics

Our Gastroenterology section is seeking BE/BC general Gastroenterologists as part of a planned expansion. Our section serves a state‑of‑the‑art 357‑bed tertiary referral center opened in July 2023 with outreach opportunities into surrounding communities. The facility features an outpatient endoscopy unit, side‑by‑side clinic with 8 endoscopy suites and a motility lab, and two dedicated endoscopy rooms in the main hospital for inpatient procedures.

An IM hospitalist service manages all GI admissions and provides consultative services. Eleven advanced practice providers support outpatient visits and inpatient GI consultation, including weekends. This position accommodates subspecialty interests (IBD, liver disease, esophageal disease, etc.) and has a goal of a minimum 1:8 call schedule. ERCP and EUS experience are not required.

• Current group includes four general gastroenterologists and one gastrointestinal hospitalist.
• Two additional general gastroenterologists are joining in 2026.
• One therapeutic endoscopist with additional support from a casually employed physician.
• Goal: 8‑9 general gastroenterologists and 3 advanced endoscopists.

Guaranteed base salary with incentive for production during employment; not an RVU‑based model. Base or equal share of pool: $715,000. Candidates may also receive bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
