Practice Overview

• Provide high-quality comprehensive otolaryngology/head & neck cancer patient care.
• Currently 2 full-time Otolaryngology physicians in the department.
• 1:3 weekday call; 1:6 weekend call (shared with another community group).
• Practice supported by 2 Physician Assistants who perform consults, patient visits, follow-up, and surgical assistance.
• Collaboration with multi-specialty teams.
• Integrated Audiology department offering a broad range of services.
• Admit patients to two hospitals located on campus and connected by an enclosed skywalk system.
• Essentia Health Duluth Medical Center – 175-bed specialized care facility.
• St. Mary’s Medical Center – Brand new, state‑of‑the‑art facility with children’s hospital designation.
• Opportunity for teaching medical students and family practice residents.
• Clinical research opportunities.
• Flexible 4.5-day work week.
• DaVinci XI robots available at 2 operating sites.
• Dedicated OR block time; wide variety of cases, no trauma.
• Walk into an established practice with a large patient base; you will be busy on day one.
• Located in Duluth, MN – a port city on Lake Superior, 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

• BC/BE in Otolaryngology.
• Fellowship trained in Head & Neck Surgery.

$605,976 base salary. Hired candidates may be eligible for bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation. Comprehensive benefits include CME fund, malpractice with tail, relocation money, 401(k) match, and more.
