PHYSICIAN - Urgent Care (Casual) - Duluth, MN

Practice Specifics

We seek a flexible, team‑player Urgent Care clinician for multiple Duluth, MN locations. The role involves covering 12‑, 8‑, and 4‑hour shifts, with scheduling set 3–6 months in advance. Urgent Care hours are 9AM–7PM on weekdays and 8AM–5PM on weekends.

Approximately 35 low‑end to 70 high‑end patients daily.

• Provide acute walk‑in care for adults and pediatrics.
• Manage respiratory illnesses, minor injuries including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and musculoskeletal injuries with radiology and splinting.
• Treat non‑life‑threatening trauma and work‑comp injuries.
• Collaborate with credentialed practitioners and ancillary services.

• Multitasking, strong critical thinking, interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with suturing and splinting.
• Leadership skills or interest.
• Team‑based care orientation.

• BC/BE in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine.
• Current BLS certification.
• Licensed to practice in Minnesota.
