Psychiatry - Child​/Adolescent

All Star Healthcare represents a facility in Minnesota seeking Child and Adolescent Psychiatry locums coverage.

• To meet availability requirements, providers must be able to commit to all of the following dates in full:
  • 12/20-12/28
  • 1/25-1/31
  • 2/22-2/28
  • 3/22-3/28
  • 4/26-5/2
  • 5/24-5/30
  • 6/14-6/20
  • 7/12-7/18
  • 8/9-8/15
• Guarantee: 10-hour guarantee
• Overtime: Close to non-existent. Providers have worked with the facility for years without any overtime.
• Work Hours: Coverage of the unit from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Providers are expected to round on all patients daily (average census of 12 patients) and complete any admissions and discharges.
• Most physicians are onsite for rounds approximately 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, though this varies by provider preference.
• Providers must address any patient care needs that arise on the unit between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
• The inpatient unit can accept patients as young as 3 years old, depending on the current patient mix.
• If the unit consists primarily of teens, younger patients may not be admitted, even though the unit is technically able to accommodate them.
• H&Ps Required: Yes.
  • Approximately 80-90% of the time, providers will document that the exam completed in the ED
