Start Date: 08/29/2026
End Date/Duration: Indefinite
Shift: 7-10 days/month, up to 14 days/month, schedule TBD (preferably bookend weekends)
Hours/Week: Based on schedule
Employment Type: Contract
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
Experience: Prior thoracic surgery experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (comprehensive pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:

Provide thoracic and cardio thoracic surgical care in a busy hospital setting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute surgical procedures
Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care
Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all procedures
Document procedures and patient responses accurately in accordance with hospital protocols

What You Need:

Valid medical license to practice in Minnesota
Board Certified or Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
1+ years of thoracic surgery experience preferred
Strong surgical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
