The ASL Tutors tutor students at all levels of ASL language study, but work primarily with first and second-year language students in classes (TA) and individual sessions.
Job Duties
* Conduct one-on-one oral practice assignments with first and second year students
* Basic record keeping of oral assignments
* Offer walk-in or Zoom-based tutoring service during posted hours
* Proctoring exams
* Administering the Spanish Placement Exam during new student orientations
* Maintaining and posting available hours
* Maintain confidentiality
* Other duties as necessary or assigned
Required Qualifications
* Must be a current CSS student
* Federal work study eligibility is required
* Proficiency in ASL
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Professional presence to represent the College to the public
* Good attendance
Preferred Qualifications
* Good interpersonal skills
