Purpose of the Activity

Provide an opportunity for students to help and mentor incoming 9th graders at SAHS.
Provide resources and support for orientation day for 9th grade students entering high school.

Qualifications for the Job

Working at SAHS.
Leadership training of some kind would be ideal.
Supportive of high school students academically.
Education degree and/or counseling.

Immediate Supervisor

Assistant Principal

General Duties and Responsibilities

Training student leaders.

Organizing 9th grade orientation day.

Plan for special events organized by Link Crew team.

Follow District #834 Code of Ethics for Advisors.

Length of Activity

Year long, weeks.

Public Performance

Scheduled meetings and beginning of year orientation.
