Special Education Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)
Location:
Bloomington, MN
School Year: 2024/2025
We are seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for long-term substitute positions in Bloomington, MN for the 2024/2025 school year. This role will involve working with middle school students and requires multiple certifications.
Position Details- Number of Positions: 2
- Caseload: 16 students in Middle School
- Certifications:
Multiple certifications including ABS (Academic Behavioral Specialist), Autism, or Cognitive Disabilities are acceptable.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide tailored instructional support and acmodations to meet students needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other school staff to support student success
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
- Multiple certifications in ABS, Autism, or Cognitive Disabilities preferred
