Position: Full-Time SPED Teacher Contract Position Available

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the North Saint Paul, MN area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment for students with special needs.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

  • A valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
  • A Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Minnesota state and federal special education laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Prior experience in a special education setting is highly preferred.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Adapt and modify general education curriculum to address the needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
  • Track and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other school personnel to ensure appropriate educational support and accommodations.
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports the needs of all students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education.
