- Experience in use of computers and office machines.
- Ability to communicate with community, staff and students.
- Proper etiquette and techniques for dealing with the public.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
- Assists in the overall operation and arrangement of library/media center and materials.
- Assists students and staff in appropriate utilization of library/media materials.
- Assist in maintenance and upkeep of the library/media collection.
- Assist students and staff in checking in and out equipment and materials.
- Screens materials and equipment for minor damage and repairs.
- Maintain daily circulation record for library/media collection and collates those statistics.
- Manage the ordering of library/media materials, equipment and supplies.
- Performs clerical responsibilities for library/media center.
- Coordinate volunteers: schedule, manage tasks, (greet, thank you notes, etc.)
- Assist teachers wiht the collection of materials for classroom instruction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by media specialist or principal.
RAVE Clerical Association – Wage Group VI: $21.53 – $24.16 Hourly – According to contractual agreement (based on 2026‑27 contract).
