QUALIFICATIONS- Proven quality educator who has demonstrated success as a teacher/coach.
- Proven purpose-based educator with a focus on Eastview’s Guiding Principles and Core Values.
- Successful coaching experience with high school aged student‑athletes.
- Proven technical and instructional expertise in gymnastics skills.
- Proven skills in organizing individual/team sports including working successfully with young adults, parents, and school administration.
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to provide positive leadership and productive partnerships with families, the community and associated programs.
- Ability to develop training programs individualized to the needs and experience of a diverse group of athletes ranging from beginning athletes new to the sport to those with extensive training experience.
- Proven skills in developing effective and differentiated practice plans.
- Proven successful ability in working with and developing a coaching staff.
- Committed to working with the area youth association and maintaining great relationships with them.
- Understanding of adolescent development and an ability to communicate effectively with and support young adult athletes.
- Desire to participate in continuing coaching education and hold current coaching licensure or certification.
- Provide leadership for the entire Eastview Gymnastics Program at all levels of play.
- Develop relationships with all stakeholders to better develop life skills in all members of the program.
- Organization and implementation of team practices.
- Partner with the Training Hall to implement strength and conditioning program for in‑season training and out‑of‑season training.
- Pen communication with parents.
- Open communication with athletic director.
- Athlete development and program promotion.
- Instruction of athletes in fundamentals and techniques.
- Program support for student‑athletes for academic progress and commitment to athletic improvement.
- Management of program budget.
