Interim Elementary Principal, 44 weeks – Congdon Park Elementary ()
PositionLocation: 3116 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55812.
Salary: As per Collective Bargaining Agreement Duluth Principals' Association Salary Schedule.
Benefits: As per Collective Bargaining Agreement Duluth Principals' Association.
Minimum Qualifications- Current valid MN K-6 or K-12 Principal's license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE).
- Coordinate supervision and safety in all school areas during the regular school day, including buses, breakfast, lunch, and recess.
- Coordinate the problem solving process as part of an MTSS (academic and behavioral) framework (tiered supports, progress monitoring, etc.).
- Oversee 504, IEP, and special services for students, and work with early childhood leadership to support early childhood programs and coordinate Pre-K-3 alignment.
- Oversee student referrals for extended year programs (after school and summer school).
- Oversee use of facility.
- Oversee kindergarten roundup for incoming students.
- Oversee student discipline, behavior, and attendance; communicate with county services as needed (e.g., educational neglect).
- Perform other related duties as assigned by district administration.
