PLC Facilitator

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY (PLC) FACILITATOR (Q Comp)

One Year Commitment )

• Develop meeting agendas
• Communicate with Q Comp team to establish meeting schedule that accommodates members of the PLC
• Facilitate team meetings to assure that the team is working toward site goals
• Ensure that PLC SMART goal aligns to district SMART goal
• Prepare and report minutes (including member attendance and participation) of meetings to Q Comp Coordinator
• Participate in 3-4 possible required trainings throughout year
• Maintain records of PLC meetings
• Communicates with Q Comp PLC Coordinator as needs arise

• Current MN Teaching Licensure
• Tenure in district preferred
• Flexible, self-motivated, collaborative and able to work with diverse teams
• Proficiency in communicating instructional strategies and skills to other teachers
• Knowledge of current research based best practice that improves student learning
• Skills in organization, leadership, communication, and collaboration

• Required Facilitator training will be scheduled during back-to-school workshop or the first two weeks of school.

Stipend: $750
