This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility near Airpark Blvd and Haines Road.
What You Will Be Doing- Uses schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform testing of products and equipment.
- Uses test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test equipment in support of R&D engineering.
- Build prototypes and related hardware including test fixtures, mechanical enclosures, assembly jigs and production tooling.
- Production line engineering support leader – addresses equipment issues and line-down situations.
- Performs qualification testing on new products.
- Performs Xray analysis on space grade products.
- Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
We are looking for a candidate experienced with electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, power supplies, and understands electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Skilled with hand soldering, PCBA construction, and the use of common shop tools. Must have an associate degree in engineering technology from an ABET-accredited college or technical school, or equivalent military training, with 0-3 years of related experience.
Job training and orientation time is expected to be less than 2 months.
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. Therefore, it is open only to applicants who qualify as "U.S. Persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15, which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
Salary and HoursWork hours:
Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM. Pay: $23-24/hr starting pay, with additional compensation based on experience.
