Senior Bridge Engineer
Location:
Duluth, GA
- Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.
- Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.
- Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets, and producing quality products.
- Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering
- 10‑15 years of progressive professional experience designing bridges
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
- Diverse body of work in the bridge design industry
- Experience coaching and leading lower‑level professionals
- Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols
- GDOT experience preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia or comparable license within the United States
- Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16‑hour exam preferred
- Master of Civil Engineering preferred
- Substantial experience with AASHTO LRFD
- Experience with Bluebeam, Project Wise, Bentley Engineering software, and GDOT in‑house design software preferred
- Ability to travel, if so, up to 25% of the time
- Memberships in Professional Organizations
