Land Surveyor In Training

JPJ Engineering is looking for a Registered Land Surveyor-In-Training (LSIT) to join our Duluth or Hibbing, MN office. The LSIT will collaborate with other team members to plan and execute the work. Surveying tasks include fieldwork at local project sites (which means you’ll be home every evening and can have a healthy work/life balance) utilizing current Trimble equipment, helping with project research, data calculations, and the review, verification, and production of final project deliverables for topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys, and construction staking.

The LSIT may also review project data and estimate the time required to complete the work.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in surveying or related fieldMN Land Surveyor-In-Training License or ability to obtain one (REQUIRED)

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (Preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation
